Last Sunday, Grandma took us to see the circus. She had been planning for months. She was so worried that she wouldn't be able to make it to Greenville from Asheville because of some crazy snow storm that we had the tickets in the car and ready for weeks just in case we had to go without her. Fortunately, she was able to go. We had a great time. It was all very fun and very overwhelming. The group favorite was the ball with the motorcycles driving around in it. If you haven't been to the GSoE in a while, they put three motorcycles in the very small ball and the ride around at very fast speeds. Then, they ask you if you want to see more and they keep adding a motorcycle until they get to 6. It was pretty unbelievable. Daddy kept yelling, "We believe you!! You are the Greatest Show on Earth!! You don't have to keep proving it to us!!!" You can tell he isn't a risk taker! ;) The only time we were able to take pictures was before the show when we were able to walk around on the floor. Here are some of those pictures...
Grandma and Huey waiting for the man on the stilts to sign her book
Getting an autograph from one of the girls
We stood next to a ring and watched different acts. Because of all of the people the girls were a little ahead of us. I called Huey's name and this is the expression I got. Bless her heart, she was terrified, but really having a great time. She really did love the circus, but it took a little while for her to get used to it. She kept saying, "Oh, my word!"
Our favorite thing to see when we were standing next to the ring was the elephant that came out and painted for us. So cool!!
Here are the excited kids and their grandmother. There was a lot of chaos going on while we were trying to take the pictures, so they are a little distracted and glassy eyed.
