Celebrating life’s everyday moments…
In 2019, Susan partnered with Your Milk Shoppe to photograph moms doing what they do best - being a mom. She photographed them dancing in the kitchen, reading before nap time, playing on the playground and working while watching their kids. They called this project Nurtured. The goal for Nurtured was for all moms to feel celebrated and cheered on for every part of their day - even if it just seemed ordinary.
After this project, a passion was ignited in Susan to continue photographing families in this manner. Freezing every day moments to help remember them forever. Because while we love beautiful, timeless studio portraits, we also want to remember the time you and your dad laughed so hard that you almost spit out your milk!
Some photographers call these “lifestyle” sessions. We call them “A Day in the Life” sessions. Before the session, you and Susan will brainstorm about your favorite parts of your day or favorite locations in Greenville. We will determine who needs to be involved and what time is best for each family member. And then it will be time for the “big day”. It really will be such a fun session for your family and Susan can’t wait to meet you.
